Los Angeles Studio Manager

Prevail Boxing is seeking a Studio Manager that will help grow, manage and develop processes for our studio and the studio team. The Studio Manager will ensure the studio is well-maintained, customer service is upheld, and the location is reaching its full potential. This individual will report to the Founder and will be part of the Leadership Team.

The below responsibilities are representative of what the Studio Manager will perform. We’re a small but mighty team with big dreams, and anyone who joins us should be willing to wear multiple hats as the company grows and evolves.



  • Create and maintain strong personal relationships with the local community, clients, partners, and Prevail staff

  • Create and uphold a culture of excellence throughout the company, including Prevail’s exceptional customer experience

  • Handle complaints, settle disputes and resolve challenges from clients

  • Motivate and support staff in solving for client challenges and complaints in a positive manner, always upholding Prevail standards

  • Supervise front desk staff in an administrative capacity


  • Identify, recruit, and interview potential front of house hires

  • Oversee hiring and training of front of house staff, including orientation and on-boarding

  • Create the front of house (desk staff) and back of house (coaches) schedule, and plan for any schedule adjustments as needed

  • Audit schedule weekly for changes in events, open shifts, or additional opportunities

  • Host weekly meetings to check in with front of house staff, provide feedback, and empower team members

  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with coaches

  • Work with Head Coach and attend various coaches’ weekly classes and provide feedback to ensure classes run on schedule, facilities operate smoothly, and classes are up to Prevail brand standards


  • Develop business plans for the studio that result in growth of membership and retail sales

  • Work alongside Leadership Team to plan and execute in-studio events, including new studio launches and partner events

  • Oversee and manage facilities and maintenance teams, including for urgent requests

  • Work with Marketing Manager to ensure marketing initiatives are executed and align with studio goals


  • 2+ years’ experience in previous fitness studio management role

  • Ability to work non-traditional hours for special events, including weekends and occasional holidays

  • Ability to communicate in an effective and efficient way

  • Passion for fitness and the pursuit of self-excellence

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year college
